Requirements
Although UK Electronics is a relatively small company employing around 40 staff, the through-put of specialist work is extremely demanding and as a result, we are always looking at improving efficiency and streamlining operations.
Solution
We introduced timeware® in 2002 for several reasons: as a tool to store staff training records, to provide an effective roll call facility and more importantly to track employee attendance. In 2005 we were one of the first companies to convert to timeware® biometric to ensure the accuracy and validity of all attendance data.
With the introduction of the overtime authorisation feature and the link to Sage payroll, we felt that the final part of the process was complete. The payroll deadline at UKE is 11am on a Monday morning – by 10:30am all the attendance records have been checked and passed to Sage - it couldn’t be easier!
